I currently have a greyhound 6.5 hp engine for my go kart. I found which I believe is a rpm limiter. Is it fine to mess with the rpm limiter to make to go kart go faster?
Are you talking about the small screw with a spring on it? If so, yes. It can be tweaked to get a few hundred more RPM from it, but it's still governed at 3600. By backing it out completely, you could possibly hit 3800 or so.
