Chances are that kart ended up in a dumpster afterward.

The first time I drove a kart was back in the 60's, it was my buddy's kart. I blew through 2 or 3 stop signs because I had no idea how to stop the thing. That could have gotten ugly.

I finally watched this. EGAD! That’s about the dumbest thing I have ever seen, concerning karts at least. To stand in defense of the poor fella for a second, it seems a possible stuck throttle might have occurred, but that’s no excuse for the guy’s steering skills nor the fact that his foot floated away from that crucial brake pedal before the embarrassing upset at the end. As expected, the comments are comedy gold...

The kart was pointed at the island before he gassed it, so maybe the owner should have pointed it down the straightaway for the hapless idiot? Make it super easy? Idk
