Rode my Kart tonight!

Rode my kart tonight (couldn't take it anymore) for the first time since I got it a week ago. Had to fix some things (bad inner tube, missing snap ring on the clutch, etc.). It was awesome! That's all I have to say about that.

I only rode it around the neighborhood, but for that brief time...everything was right with the world! And the flathead ran perfectly!

Congratulations on your first ride with it. Riding mine always helps me clear my head, maybe it's actually the merciless beating I administer every time that does it, but I know I always feel better when I climb off of one than I did when I sat down on it.

Funny how that works isn't it? Very few things gives you those kinds of emotions, for me one is driving the hot rods, another is my mini bikes, so glad to be back into a go kart. I've been away from it far too long!

Absolutely. Hot rods, bikes, go karts, and minibikes for me. I break all of them pretty regularly, lol. Nothing like a little mechanical violence to soothe the nerves.
