I always scan the 2 dozen or so headlines on my internet home page, and a story today was about The Rocketman and his new pulsejet gokart. What made it cool is he put not 1 or 2 but 3 pulsejets on the thing. Watching them slowly change from black to yellow to red to white-hot as he drives is spooky. There was a link to his video, pretty cool for gokart nuts, here it is.............

That very well could have been me back when my hair could be tucked into the back of my jeans. Wouldn't have had the hair lasting very long with that white-hot blast furnace right behind it though. I can smell burnt hair right now. Hmm, thought the acid was all processed out of the hallucibellum after all these years.

It don’t look that scary to me. Hot yes! Scary no. Burning too lean? Wrong materials? Burning too rich? Even ol Adolf had them working better than that. Now that is scary.

Even ol Adolf had them working better than that.
Ole Adolph's main man Von Braun did get the thrust better, but the failure of Von Braun's so-called wunderwaffe rockets was a lack of any guidance that could hit anything. That whole country lacked any decent guidance, morally or otherwise, in the early 40's, with their greatest achievement taking place deep in a Berlin bunker.
However, on that wide open dry lake bed that Rocketman was using, ole Werner wouldn't have needed any real guidance. Could have just sat Rocketman on one of those wundertoys and let him be the guidance system. Like in the video.
I smell burnt hair again..............
