rims and tires

anyone know if these will work together?

This is an 8" rim with a (4) hole pattern on a 4" diameter bolt circle for a 1/2" stud or bolt.
Rim is 7" wide.

Both are 8". 8" tires are made for 8" rims.
Yes, they will work together.

The only thought I had is that snowblower tires are probably a softer compound than most because they're intended for use when very cold (should be if they aren't - maybe they don't put that much thought into snowblower tires - tractions isn't a huge problem either way I suppose). I wonder if they won't wear pretty quickly on a kart?

I was reading another thread on here and a guy said those were the tires he had on his kart and he loved em. said they dug in really good and had alot of traction. I dont know if they wore out on him or not. im hoping to have at least a 10hp on this thing so im wanting as much traction as I can get.
