I found a good deal on Ebay for a pair of tires with rims. The size on the sidewall reads: "7.1 / 11.0 - 5 DR8". I interpret this to mean the width is 7 inches across / the height is 11 inches - the rim is 5 inches in diameter. My problem is with the rim it's mounted on (see photo). It needs a hub so it can be mounted to the rear axle. Is this rim able to accept a hub for a 1 inch rear (live) axle? Anyone have a suggestion on where to purchase them? 'Preciate the advice. **** here's a link to the BMI web page for a potential hub for these wheels:http://www.bmikarts.com/Lightened-Aluminum-Wheel-Rear-Hub-1-Bore_p_2535.html . I'm not sure these will work since the hubs are listed with a 1 3/4 inch shoulder and my center diameter is 1.5 inch.

Seeing that they are douglas wheels, you can use this as a reference for your rims

http://dwtracing.com/product/classic-spun-aluminum/

bmi has a good selection of racing parts, so their hub section would be a good place to look

http://www.bmikarts.com/Wheel-Hubs_c_304.html

finally with tires, its up to you, but i usually find the best deals on ebay, go power sports, (bmi is also on ebay and usually ships cheaper)

Thanks KartFab- Will any 3 hole hub with a 1.5 inch OD x 1 inch ID fit these rims? It crossed my mind that these may be front wheels because of the 3 holes for the bolts? Most of the rear wheel hubs I've seen are 4 holed. Thanks for the links. You have a good web site, too.

I think your right

If the rims are metric does that mean the 1.5 "inch" center opening is actually a "38 mm" opening? and that's the hub size?

Well, 38mm converts to 1.49606", but the most important measurement you need to take now is the bolt patern of your rims. There's a couple other 3-bolt patterns used over the years that aren't listed on that chart I posted. After you post your rims bolt patern, I'll try to help you find hubs that'll fit your 1" axle.
