Rim/Sprocket for 1 wheel wonder rig?

I got this frame for free, and the sprocket is like welded onto the rim? Where do you get these sprockets at and how the heck to you make it work lol..is there a better way to do this??

Is there a problem with how it's welded to the rim?

It looks OK. As long as it's on there straight, go with it.
