Took my golf cart out on the foothills today with my son.
This thing is a blast to drive! It's got quite a good amount of torque, it can climb some pretty steep hills...
Thats my truck at the bottom of the hill.

Now that i'm sure that I really like it, its time to mod it. Bigger tires & a lift kit are on the list!

several reasons... and its just a personal thing.. nothing against the go kart, but i feel that it would be best for a teenager... or someone who is not 215lbs and with a bad back :D

its low seating is difficult for me to get into and out of, the ride was really bumpy, the engine needed to rev up all the way for the clutch to engage and slowly move forward.. it might have something to do with the passenger weight. also the wheels tug to the left. I think that the frame might be tweaked a bit, i'll have to see if i can do anything about that before i sell it.

and really its difficult to enjoy the go kart when i have the golf cart, the golf cart is like driving in a cadillac with its smooth suspension and comfy seating position...

either way, i have no regrets, i wanted to pick up the go kart as a project, as i always need something to do... lol... OCD & ADD are expensive diseases LOL... :D

Oh so, you've been spoit with the golf kart :lolgoku:

Pulling to the left may simply be the toe is out of adjustment; do a drop test to be sure if the frame is bent or not...

Hey Fellas, i sold the go cart.. had it listed on CL for one day and had 8 people interested, the first guy that called was from an hour north and wanted it for his 2 daughters, so i saved it for him. He showed up a few days later and took it, no bs, $ in hand. I wish all transactions would go that smooth :D

anyhow, back to my golf cart, this thing is a blast to drive! my son and I have gone out to the foothills several times, and on the days where time is not enough, we just ride around the neighborhood, him on his atv and me on my golf cart.

So i finally dropped the hammer and ordered a 4" lift kit, bigger knobby tires, and 2" wheel spacers.

As soon as they arrive and i get them mounted I'll post some pics!

some progress
I wanted to lift it, but i have never fabbed up any suspension before so i played it safe and ordered a 4" lift off of ebay.
I also wanted some better shocks but all the ones on ebay were all out of my budget. So luckily I found the exact shocks I wanted at the swapmeet for the ultra low price of $40! SCORE!

Daddy's little helper

I have new knobby tires that should be arriving tomorrow!
