The first thing when I look at a machine like this is, what will it take/cost to get a sprocket to mate with the engine and to the rear end.

This is really the most critical element as the rest of the buggy can be made to fit around. The sprocket/hub most likely needs to be machined some how, and most people dont have those tools at hand or handy, equally speaking it wont be cheap to get it machined, as this wont be an off-the-shelf part.

I agree with mckutzy, you mocked it up...very good, now take a close look at how you are going to get power from motor sprocket to axle.... everything else is just cubic dollars.

Litrally just dropped engine in and placed exhaust on lads. Sprockets wise theres already a 420 pitch on the axle drive sprocket on engine is a 428 pitch but plans are to use a lay shaft but tbf still thinkin of building a complete new back end with new axle wheels hubs an sprockets and there quiet a few 30mm split style sprockets available that are used on most shifter karts

Few hours tinkering today and decided gonna go with a complete new back end. Of 80x80x5mm box section with a lay shaft set up.
