Hey, well I half burned out my MY1020 electric motor, and I've dissemmbeled it, and other than the fact that all the wiring insultation is in shreds, and the communator(sp?) is burnt... and the epoxy offsetters and burned and shredded...

Anyone recommend me what type of wire and how many rounds to go around with? AWG...? How many loops?

I'm looking mainly for HIGH speed while to have good torque. The stock on this was nice, but as you can tell, it couldn't handle the heat.

Still worked at the time, but began to burn. Pics coming later.

You should go with bigger wire. not sure what gauge to recommend. Your amperage draw will increase but, it should certainly feel more powerful. I would say to put on as many loops as you can.

Really? I thought the less loops the better actually...

I got 16 gauge, but now I'm regretting it, I can barely get 7 loops into each of them... ****.
