So long - no post. I thought now would be a good time to do a review of the builds. Most of them are in this, the reverse trike isn't because I took it apart nor is the Hyperion K4RT because - I forgot to.

Any new up and coming builds?

Ha, no the fire was put out. Later on we saw some flashing lights up there so what ever was going on they took care of it.

Glad you're back on here. Going to watch the video later. The Tumbler is still my personal favorite.

Glad it wasn't a forest fire. Probably someone burning very green or wet wood. Glad your projects haven't rusted away. Have you thought of getting tarps and bungee straps to protect them from the elements?

What do you just build them then let them sit out and rust or what?

Nope. Of course, my frame I built for ice fishing has 2 coats of jet black auto paint on it and the only bit of rust is in the tongue for a hitch receiver. It's close to 7 years old and no rust. But it has been sitting outside uncovered for almost 7 years, unfinished.

Just saying though, I'd buy a couple $5 tarps and bungee cords to keep my stuff out if the elements, or get a new shelter built. Spend a lot of money on something, rather not have iron oxide take it away.

Ha , Chancer. yeah most of my builds sit outside. I have had tarps for them but the winds up here just rip them apart. Most tarps I get only last for about a year if that. They don't last very long. I would like to get some spray guns and stuff so I can put higher quality paint on them but I have to settle with getting the cheep stuff at Walmart.
The bat was painted back in 2009 by a guy that lived about a block away, he did cars. I'm surprised it lasted this long with out needing it.
The A-kart was done in 2010. The C-kart was done in 1012. The bike was started in 2012 and finished in 2013. Then came the Fullscreen machine started it in 2013 then had to stop and move on to my 16 x 6 trailer. Then got back into the buggy then had to stop again because we moved to a new house.
Finally got it done this year. So most of these builds will have some rust or need a new paint job.

Not to sure yet. It most likely will be used on some type of work machine I build for around the house. From what I been told they're not good for speed.

Nice to see your around still. I too need a yard machine. Saved a old Montgomery ward hydro from the scrap pile to make a tractor or something out of. Been thinking about making a tractor to pull a wide mower for the 3 Acres in Montana I will have to mow if I move back.

I built a kart years ago using a 10 HP motor & that type of trans.

It was kool having gears & reverse but, yes it was very slow.

I even played around with pulley sizes but, couldn't get much more speed out of it.

that's what I was thinking, I really wana use this on some future build but It looks like its going to have to be a power thing and not speed.
