you might ask the auto parts guy also.
I find with a broken stud/bolt, a dab of weld
will do. The difference in expansion of two
materials will usually loosen the threads.
Plumbing supply wharehouses carry a acid flux called Laco. If you apply it and heat the bolt,
the flux will wick into the threads. Works great/stinks like he!!.:ack2:
