removal of brake rotor

hello I've been looking at removing my brake rotor I just found out its bent and I want to get a new one but I've been having trouble removing it. It seems like I have to slide the axle out and then I'm able to remove the brake rotor but I'm not 1000% sure if I could get the axle to slide out nor do I know any good tricks to do so. I would really appreciate if anyone has some tips and tricks for me

I’d start by sanding all the rust off the axle. Then buy a few gallons of evaporust and start soaking that axle.

Lots of rust. Your in for a work out.

Try soaking with a penetrative oil thoroughly.

Make sure there's no set screw or grub screws.

The proper application of "dirty" shop language at the proper time is helpful as well.
to be effective everyone needs to develop their own routine, there is no template.

I've used a wire wheel on a die grinder to remove the rust and paint off of my axle before. I have a mikita electric die grinder. Easier than sanding, in my opinion. Just be sure to wear safety glasses.

That brake rotor hub is a split clamp style. Remove the 3 bolts from the rotor or at least loosen them then loosen the large allen head pinch bolt thats holding the tension on the clamping. Might drive a small flat chisel in that split to open it up a bit. And yes make the shaft as burr and rust free as possible. Good luck.

got a update for you guys so with a lot of swearing and elbow grease I got it off lol. I had use a press to get the bearing off the axle plus a air hammer to just knock the bearing loose enough I will clean the whole axle but so far I'm happy with the progress I've made so far I'll try to find a replacement rotor since this one is junk I;ll keep you guys updated but thank you for the advice it helped a lot
