Finished up installing the roll bar (same green as the other parts) but didn't take any pictures. I'm going back out next Saturday to do some touch up and clean everything up and will take some final pictures then.

I'll pull the exact colors tonight but the purple is actually called plum (we had a body shop mix and spray the frame) and the green is from a rattle can. It's engine enamel from DuePont.

Ended up not being able to use the belts I wanted but I have some that will work for now. The most important part...It's finished enough for her to ride tomorrow. I'll take final pictures as soon as I figure out who in the house took the camera

Hawt dang!!

At first i was skeptical of the purple.. i was thinking "thats a prett nice colour.. nothing against it, just not quite the colour I'd want for something i wanna rip around on.. but then when the folowing pics with the lime-ish green popped up, i was like holy wow!!

thats sexy!

and unique! dont see much of anything, (nothing that i can think of myself anyhow) wiht that colour scheme... and nice n vibrant! and i totaly have to agree with everyone, it looks GREAT!

I'd totaly rock that!

nice job! :D

finished kart

A very...very...very happy little girl

Oh and thanks to everyone (especially toystory and rgvkid) for all the help and answering all my noob questions. Had it not been for this site and the people locally, this project would have never turned out like it did.

Thanks to all the positive responses as well...it truly helps to keep the motivation going on projects such as this.

Mine is a Carter Brothers Red Talon. It's a pretty small kart but perfect for my daughter.

This is a great site with lots of helpful information and some great people that are willing to help you along the way.

Thank you...I was very happy with how the colors worked with eachother. I even like the white for the wheels. Helps give it that clasic look.
