I recently purchased a Kandi KD200GKA-2 and in Arizona it can registered for street use but I have to provide insurance, in fact I would like to have it insured regardless if it was just licensed for off-road use. I currently bundle my autos and home with Progressive, but they won't insure it. Does anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks!

Maybe Hagarty or one of the classic car insurance co's. I have never heard of a go kart being insured. Ask your neighbors who are driving odd ball vehicles on the street.

It is confusing. The Arizona MVD allowed me to register it for off-road use. The temporary plate says "MOTORCYCLE" and the registration says "ATV" for Body Style. It comes fully equipped with head lights, tail lights, turn signals and horn. I'd say it is more ATV than Go-Kart. Below is a picture of the model (Kandi GKA200-2)

Government and insurance companies in bed together. That's not really working out too well, IMO.

i don´t know why you would insure that just make a savings account and every month pay it a certain amount
To get it road legal, in AZ, it has to be insured. All vehicles that travel on roadways must have proof of insurance in my state. It isn't a must have, but I was just curious if anyone has insured their buggy and if so, with who.

I doubt there is a state that does not require any motor vehicle used on a public road to have insurance.
