Well nothing I hadn't already said... But it will work..

Hey!!! thanks for chiming up again... would you mind pointing me up to some of those self leveling bearings with 3/4 ID and 1-3/8 OD with flange...?
Can you use self leveling bearings with any hanger or it has to be paired with self leveling flanges...???
I would like to buy a couple to play a little with those too.

Any bearing shop will have 3/4" self-alining bearings.
They have matched cups/hangers, as they operate in an spherical manner.
As you seen, 2,3,4 bolt hangers.

You already welded you hangars over the holes for the self aligning bearing hangars.

Since you asked the only thing I might do is add additional locking collars. Though not neccesary. and There is a better style than the one you have. It is actually cut and has a bolt that pinches the clamp itself closed on the shaft rather than the set screw type you have. Dont get me wrong yours will work, but in my experience they tend to loosen up, and the set screw makes marks on the shaft making it difficult to slid the gears and bearing off in the future.

But what you have there Does look good to me. Overall Nice job:thumbsup:
