rear sprocket

hey all, my 2nd cart progect has slowed down lately, 1 inch axle with new sprocket and hub. cant see any obvious damage to axle but get tiny bit of sprocket wobble when I turn it by hand. not like its loose wobble more like sprocket is bent. I don't think that's normal. also a lot of old paint on axle, any ideas?(sprocket and hub brand new) hub has 2 set screws, thanx pine

Check with a straight edge.... If its bent it'll rock or you'll see a gap...

Clean the old paint off under the hub.

Ok I have seen this here before. and Twice on my Karts. When you bolt the Sprocket to its hub the holes on one ot the other are sometimes 1/16 larger. If all the slop falls to one side it causes a wobble. See if this is your issue.
It is a P I T A, but a little patience and you can get everything centered. I considered using some sort of mild adhesive to temporarily hold things in place. Because once you out nuts and bolts on you cant see if it is still centered.

I see what you mean but this one wobbles from left-rght. if you stand over it looking down (with wheels off ground) and turn axle it moves L-R, new hub and sprocket. like its warped, thanx
