rear axle dilema

not sure how to go about this....

off road go kart with cb750 motorcycle engine
the rear has no independent suspension. jus 2 shocks and a big swing arm. so that means i have to have a fixed solid axle.
now.
the current axle i have is for a 200cc motor and is bent not that it would handle 750cc anyways.

ive been looking at ATV axles but they arnt wide enough.
i dont understand yet how the atv housings work and allow the sprocket and caliper on it
google only shows so much.

now i could use a very small truck axle....but..how would i put a sprocket on that

cant find anything for rear axles for gators.
any ideas? something solid. preferbly live.
but at least 4ft long from hub to hub.

you can get some mad from sites online but check out a local tractor supply they normal keep keyed shaft than you can just get some threads on it and mod it like you wont to

Just build an axle. Nail down some keyed shaft, bearings, and hubs to suit. I'd go 1 1/4" if possible.
