You DO realize by now i'm basically building a mini car or truck?

I do totally realize that! So cool! What about installing an awesome stereo speaker system too? Plus spoilers!

Those nails are very innovative. You going to just set the motor down on them and bend them over to hold it down? You don't even need a drill. That motor was a real buckaroo in that vid.

Are you planning on bending those nails over or just wrapping them with duct tape? (I've found duct tape to be a little easier when removing the engine for upgrades, which I'm sure you will do....)

(A little known tip....taking the flywheel off and re-installing backwards advances the timing 8°....a real money saver as those off-set keys can be pricey! )

I have that same paneling on my walls. Be careful, it's about 1/64th of an inch thick. Do you have any more scrap pieces of wood you can randomly screw and nail to the body? More weight, the better.

I'd suggest maybe throwing some wood glue in some places too.

Oh! And maybe JB weld the sprocket to the engines shaft? Clutches are for wimps; they burn out too easily. That way you can use a 10 tooth sprocket on both the wheel and the engine. 1:1 ratio for max speed. If my calculations are correct, you could go about 171 miles per an hour.

Just be sure to engage that parachute in time though.

Should be fine though.

PS: You should do 4 engines. 4 wheel drive, baby!

Well he's right about some cars just have the front wheels move the car(in this case the left side...)

This is going to be epic...

I think cantilever or V-brakes will be an excellent choice, for this....this..... Motorized......

....

Pallet.....
Ya that's it.... Motorized pallet..

LOL. i guess i should add a NOS sticker too ,huh? Why not go further and just hook up an oxygen tank straight to the carb so it acts as if it was turbo charged?

But seriously, you think i would sit on a piece of paper suspended by boards? hahaha.

ha. hahahaha. Do i have the engine the wrong way? i think i do now.. * reads manual* ohh, i see now. it rotates counter-clockwise.

hmmm. * ponders* i uess that would be funny to have a rear-steeering, front wheel driven, motorized pallet on bicycle tires wouldnt it?

So now you have read the manual for the motor...... why not read some of the outstanding advice here in our little "manual"..... (called this forum....) and dont build this........as the way you currently are going......

But then again....... who reads the manual anyways.....

Nah. Just use a leaf blower as a turbo.

Free runner Can you help us find the answer to this riddle?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2eyq9qTOQY

ha. haha. i understand what you guys are trying to say buuut i'm wearing armor around my thick skull for most of this subject for now.

i cant wait to see what fate has for me.
if im able to at least move around the property once , i will be completely satisfied lol. This thing moves pretty easy with the setup so far when i push it.
Until i get a real gokart frame or welding supplies i'm going to mess around with wood.
