Well its been a while its just been to hot to deal with stuff outside but here is where I am.I decided to do everything the hard way since im good at it so the engine is in the front and the drive is in the back. Im open to suggestions on re routing the steering around the motor thats in the center.
The plan Im working with is two sprockets chain driven and move the steering shaft to the right. Thanks

why not Do what Boats Do to use their rudder and use 2 cables in a push - pull Set-up?

they use a drum for the steering wheel and on the motor they use some sort of Arm, However they have two cables on there.

That has got a fantastic stance! I love the underslung axles, too.

Can you run a chain to offset the steering shaft? To some sort of steering box so you can run a drag link.

Or how about a flexible shaft, like the old rope-drive Pontiac Tempests?

That would work. Get a used helm from a small boat and run the cable down along one frame rail to serve as a drag link right to one of the steering arms.

I am not too sure how the drivetrain is going to work. Could you post some closer pics on how you have set it up. I am also not too sure where you are going to put your legs. Do they go over the front of the bucket?

I really like the look of your radio flyer kart though

I like it! Got the same motor off an edger!

A lot of good ideas already posted before I had a chance so I second them

Got an idea for your steering. Get the steering shaft straight down, either with a flat steering wheel or a u-joint.

Then, at the bottom of the steering shaft you add a 't'.

That 't' gets two, long, angled steering arms right past the motor on each side and to the spindles.

You might even be able to get the right Ackerman this way so Fabroman doesn't yell at us. ;)
