I have a manco intruder II and just bought a GTC torque converter. The problem is the bracket for the torque converter hits the sprocket and there is not enough room for the chain. I am thinking I need to raise the motor up. Any suggestions for raising the motor up?

I had to do that with a go-kart I had. How much do you need to raise it?
I just used a 1/4" thick steel plate with holes for the bolts drilled though. Not sure if that would work for you. If push came to shove, would you be able to use square tubing as a spacer? You could add another inch or two if you used square tubing. Or lastly, if you have access to a welder...
But I could be wrong about it all.

Or another solution might be to simply install your TC in one of the alternative positions, you could install it positioned downward, or forward like this pic:
