We had a beautiful day yesterday... between the rainy days. In May/June we had 37 wet days in a row, not a lot but wet enough to be a pita

I lol'd. We've had nothing more than rain for the past 3 months, until suddenly last Sunday the clouds went away and it became sunny! That's it now for a little week. I heard it's going to rain here tomorrow again...

Weird - some people want rain, others want it away. God, why don't you spread it all nicely?

as of right now i think we have had more than enough rain here in the last 24 hours. i think if we get too much more in the next 48hours downtown Orangeville will flood again.

I'm good with that!!! Sorry, it's my business. I work for the insurance industry. Your basement floods, my company gets more work! Irony? I thrive on other people's misfortune...:ack2:

Keep the rain coming!!! We have been too dry too long. The soil is so dry right now that the water is not saturating it properly. We need several good soakings to rectify the damage.

Southern Cali is. Its been hovering around 112 Fahrenheit for 2 weeks and defiantly no rain! All I can say is atleast it isnt humid heat. Thats when you sleep in your fridge!

I wan in Cyprus last week and it was around 35°C to 40°C, but the humidity was very high! You sweated always. You were always wet, even the handtowel didn't want to dry.

18 months ago we were in the longest drought in recorded history, then the rain hit in a big way. In the space of three days we went from drought to widespread flooding & the rain hasn't stopped since; it's not as heavy but it's there. It seems the roles have reversed
