Rain tires

I have been tossing around the ideal of adding rain tires to my kart once I get it finished. These would see a good mix of asphalt, concrete, gravel and grass. How would theses tires hold up as a general all purpose tire?

I like the looks of slicks but considering the kart will be doing some time off road I thought these might strike a good compromise.

Would these be functional?
