Just picked up this new kart, tires look like there on backwards according to rotation arrows. It's so much going on here. I need you guys to take a look and make me aware of what I have and what I'm up against. Right now I'm so confused. This is my first racing chasis

Suggestions and help identifying this kart please

With cracks like that, the tires should be replaced.

It looks like an oval chassis. I can't make heads or tails of what all the electrical is for.

Chassis with X design

Are you guys familiar with what kind of frame this could be with this rare X design?

Kinda looks hacked almost... I'm surely wrong because I don't know, just looks that way. As far as the tires go you'll find some racers tend to disregard the direction of rotation markings on the tires. But those same guys normally won't change rotation after the tire gets run either. Some racers don't care...some do odd things to their tires like light them on fire... I'm not a racer so I don't know why it gets done. I personally would run the current tires until they expire, buy stuff new ones then develop my own plan that works for me.

It's a stock chassis, I can't remember what kind, but I've seen a few before. Looks like he had that mailbox gas tank and a battery hold down under the steering wheel, for an electric starter. Tires are pretty much shot, clutch is on backwards, motor should be moved back, and chain shortened.
