Race gokart

me and some people at school might make a cheap race kart, to race against some other people.so far we might have a 200cc kawazaki bike engine, and parts from that. its quite old, but it will be ok, and it makes 20hp. we also might have a quad axle, will that work ok?

don't see why not, the axle will be more than enough for what ever you through at it

what did the engine come off of? make sure the axle has the same drive as the engine to save yourselves a lot of work. what are you pitting this against? what kind of racing?

just a fun racing kart, against some guys doing the same. they dont have an engine yet. the guy who is paying for it wants it to be a field/ street kinda kart now. its a kawasaki z 200 or sumn like that, bike engine.
