Qusetions on Valve Guides (clone) and shaving the head

Got my head in from a Board Member...

its an 18cc GX160 head.. and the Valve Guide is lower on the intake then it is on the exhaust...

also.. there was no lash cap on the exhaust.. I thought they came stock with 1 on the exhaust????

can I buy 1 if needed?


and I plan on cutting the head either .065 or .080 to raise compression... any input????

NEVERMIND I called NR RACING.. got me all squared awayhe said it was normal..

.065" off head... the guides are normal one comes lower all I need is a lash cap and I am in BUSINESS

guess I will order lash caps for both sides and retainers..

thought the head was supposed to be bolt it on and good to go?

it is BUT I want higher compression... and maybe the lash cap got lost in shipping???

its an 18cc so that will give me 9.XX compression I want 10.xx PLUS


so I am cuttin head down .065" should be about 11:1 or very close
