I have been searching all over the internet and haven't found anything on this yet. Does anybody know the dimensions of the gx200 exhaust flange? (i.e length apart from the exhaust stud holes, length, width? thickness not needed) thanks

Geez, arent you just mister smart guy.

Well, I know if I measure the diameter of the bolt, and add .030" to it, that would give you the diameter to use for the holes on the flange. If you then measure from outside to outside of those bolts, then subtract 1 bolt diameter, that gives you the distance between centers.......
I also know that I was gonna go home and measure one for you after work....... BUT now, I'm sure I'll find some other smart thing to measure.......
BTW, it IS on the net..... Your not looking in the right place,or using the right search words.....
If you have one, why not measure it? If you don't have one, why do you need to know? :surrender:

Ok, that's getting us nowhere...

The centre distance between the studs on a GX160 is 44.5mm & the port hole is off centre...

The easiest way to create a flange is to first create a template:
- Remove the muffler & the studs
- Place a clean sheet of paper over the flange surface
- with a slightly dirty finger, rub over the paper until you get something like the pic below
- Now transfer the details from the paper to the desired metal

:wai: You can by that exhaust flange from any good kart shop, that deals in Honda/Clone engines. Saves you the hassle of having to make one.
