Apparently can't embed this YouTube shorts clip. But this is the upcoming Titanium 210 AC/DC multi-process welder that should be out in the next few months. I eagerly await for it to come out.

I'm finding it hilarious that stuff I need for my Badland project, is either out of stock or on intergalactic back order. Fleet Pride has most of what I need, but they only have 6 yokes on hand and not 8, and the yokes cannot be back ordered. Guess being discontinued.

Looks like I have to go down a different avenue, which is going to suck.

That sucks man. My wifes birthday was yesterday and we had to cancel our plans due to 1" of rain falling and temps were in the 50's. 22 degrees today and she talks me into replacing all our interior door slabs. Original doors from 1954 when house was built, so that's my project for my week off. :ROFLMAO:

Yeah I need to redo at least 2 doors. Both kitchen to outside, main door and screen/storm door. House being built in 1898 doesn't help. Bit of cracking by the drywall and at the door fram miter joint, so something is going on. May have to tear out drywall to figure that nonsense out. But the house could use some renovation. The people we bought it from did a poor job with the tile and grout work in the bathroom, so tiles are just cracking and falling off the wall. And they never updated some of the wiring, so majority of the house is on circa 1950s 2 wire with cloth insulation. Very few circuits are ROMEX with a ground.

Yep, most of my wiring is 1950's as well. I replaced a few wall outlets today in the kitchen, does not have a seperate breaker for the outlets, so would have to shut power off to the whole house. Wife is off today, so that wasn't an option. The one was one I replaced in 2007 and got zapped back then, so managed to do it again without being zapped this time. Lol. Got the first door "almost" done. Just waiting on some hinge shims to come tomorrow because I have 1/16" hinges and the old were 1/8". :mad2: Should go smooth after that. My back entry storm door is being a ***** lately, so noticed the trim door wood is rotting, so that is another project. Same pains brotha!

Well guys. I hang my head in defeat today. They won todays battle. Fear not! The war is far from over. Since the beginning of the hostilities, we have seen many fall. Many have shown true acts of courage. Some are eager to become war-torn men but tuck tail at the first glance into the face of battle.

I shall don the carcasses of their fallen brethren upon my carriage as a warning to those still in defiance!

That’s wild in the sense that you’ve had the build planned all this time too. Idk, I procrastinate but at the same time I am sometimes mindful enough to buy parts for future projects… that may never get started

But you’re right, it is hilarious and I laugh with you 😂

I bought the plans when we were still living in an apartment back in the summer of 2020. We didn't get our house until the following spring of '21. Lot of stuff has happened between then and now. Been kicking the rebuild the sled engine can down the road for years now. But I am hopeful I can at least get started this spring on the buggy build.

Upside is, at least I didn't waste money on the spicer 1000 yokes and u-joints since they probably would not hold up to 60hp and however much torque I would get to the axles.

My 63 Bel-Air took out a big flock of sparrows one day. By the time I got to work I only had to pick out 22 of them. The nuns were not pleased. I worked security for a convent back then.

Happy New Year's Day, fellas! 🥳

Did any of you do any celebrating, boozing or shooting off fireworks? For year and years, New Year's Eve was silent in my 'hood @12:00:00 until recently when folks decided any and every excuse for fireworks should be taken advantage of. 😐

Got to work this morning at 7:30. Everything going smooth-ish. Advisor bugs me a bit...doing the usual self knob polishing on himself about how he approved stuff for a used trade in for me to work on. Service manager comes in to hand us our hours sheets from the last pay period, for us to sign for our approval. Once he left, I had to wash a cut on my knuckle and I come back and my advisor let's me know that they just let the old guy go that has been working with us, for honestly far too long.

So HAPPY FREAKIN NEW YEAR for us. That man has been an absolute leech. Been complaining about leaving and how he doesn't need this job since he's been working with us. Now he can go back to Costa Rico and leave us alone PERMANENTLY.
