He says he has lots of land, I'd build a nice pile of dirt that meets code, walk out there with a nice 308 rifle, simi auto and start tapping that trigger at that dirt as fast as I could.... haha or if he has pavers you could lift up, get a dead chicken and put it under one of them, as close to a window/door as you can ^_^ Win.

If push come to shove what's "right" isn't as important as "what's legal", that's why I say do what you can to show you're the reasonable party and have made efforts to accommodate the neighbor (regardless of if he deserves it or not).
If that fails, then yeah, the flaming poo bag is an option.

Toss the grass back over the fence for sure. Or load it up in your truck and dump it back into his driveway.
Or better yet film him doing it. Next time you hear the mower going get ready with a good cam corder. After you got him on tape just play it cool. Keep filming him over and over.
Also put a game camera at his fence line. Always take Pics of all new grass. Make a case and play it smart. When he does call the cops. Thats when you pull out your evidence. The cops will go back to his place and question him on his doing and not yours. Nothing more will piss him off. Do not talk to him. Just build a case for later use. Just play the game and keep riding. It's your right man. If he yells at you just wave back and smile with a thumbs up.
Then only after the cops talk to him. Go get about a 10 foot 4x4. Bury it into the ground about 10 feet out from his fence. ( or legal distance) Put a huge NO DUMPING sign facing his back yard.
I bet he leaves you alone after that. Amagine how pissed he will be when he calls the cops on himself.
You can beat picky neighbors if you play them right. I had an old guy that would call the cops all the time. I would catch him spying on me all the time. So I started watching him to get even. I would notice when he did a oil change he would dump the oil in the city drain in front of his house. I waited for 6 months until I saw him do another oil chage. When he dumped the oil I got him red handed from a bush about 10 feet away. As soon as he was done I jump out of the bush and ask him to clean it up? All while filming. I never seen a old man so pissed before. Bitter beer face to the max. I told him the next time the cops come I will break out the vid. I left the camera in my front yard pointed at the drain for the rest of the day. I would come out bout every hour and ask him if he was going to clean it up?
Also the same old man would pile leaves on the top of his car. Then he would just drive down the street and let them blow off. I got him on film doing that as well. But I never confronted him for he never called the cops again.
No more cops. I moved about a year latter.
You can get really good books on how to get even with people. I seen a read some really good ones. Some evil to clever to just funny. 101 ways to get even is a good one. An anarky cook book is an evil one. From what I read in this books you could make a person live living hell if you wanted to. For an axample? Take about 20 feet of 1/4 cable along with 4 cable stop clamps. Thread one end of the cable around the driveline U-joint of the marks car. Double cable clamp the end to the u-joint. Take the rest of the 20 feet of cable and wrape and wind around anything not solid. Like the wire harnest,brake lines, ebrake cable, Starter and battery wires, Oil dip stick, Tranny dip stick,Radiator hose. Trans lines, power steering hose, things like that. Once the owner gets into the car and puts it into gear and tries to drive off. All hell will break lose and the cable destroys everything as it is sucked into the drivline. Now thats evil.... I never did this but after reading it I thought of all the damage it would do. Amagine the repairs you would have to do? Amagine getting out and looking under you car? WTF

Your neighbor is an freakin ***, no doubt. But even though your technical not breaking the law, I'd still just install a car muffler or something and try to keep it cool with ALL your neighbors. If your kart sounds annoying you'll probably end up pissing off your other neighbors too, and believe me there's nothing worse than having feuding neighbor problems.
Keep it cool man, dont do something you'll regret and make things worse, try to get along with the dork

hahaha this page is hilarious. i like the idea bighead said about tie a rope to the drive shaft and around something important in the car.
i remember one of davesfarm's videos, redneck rickem put a big thick zip tie around the drive shaft of someones truck. it made a "click" noise every time the driveshaft made a revolution. this guy loved his truck and he was pissed it was ticking, he thought it was a major problem. then he looked at the driveshaft and he was like WTF a zip tie? haha april fools!
good april fools joke today, i brought in a ton of harbor freight zip ties, and tied all the zippers together on this kids backpack in the cafeteria. he went to do his last minute homework and HE WAS PISSED!
on another note, i have alot of good neighbors, sometimes this guy even gives me a thumbs up when i scoot down the street!
and then theres that new lady that takes pictures of me, my bikes, etc, without my permission, i asked her what she wanted and she was like oh, you were riding down the street, that was illegal, im submitting this to the state to look at.
and then once she too pictures of me walking a little red wagon with leaves in it to the woods, to put LEAVES with other LEAVES. apparently, thats a pretty expensive crime.

iv had this particular problem with neibors before, complaining about quad and dirtbike noise, if they werent polite to me , i wasnt either. we also have an issue of residents of my town who complain about the train tracks and the fire siren(to the point that we found the power wire to one cut with hedge clippers!!!!).you just need to be polite and be sure you are staying within your rights, hell my new neibor likes my karts, he wants me to help him build one for his kids
