Quad Kill Switch Issue

My quad has amazing spark when I disconnect the kill switch wire from the cdi. When I connect it so I can use the kill switch it works but when its on run it has very very weak spark....

Sounds like you might have diagnosed a defective kill switch, but are you disconnecting at the CDI end or at the kill switch end of the wiring?

Having the exact same symptoms when disconnecting at the kill switch end of the wiring harness would help to rule out some other cause.

I disconnect it at the kill switch side and it doesn't get the good spark

Check resistance between the kill switch wire at the CDI and ground( or whatever conductor it connects to in order to stop spark). When the switch is in RUN, it should be open-circuit.

That doesn't make sense and we don't know how you checked it.

Sorry I was doing it wrong.. it has 0.4 resistance

The wiring diagram shows your kill switch wire also connects to the ignition switch & the reverse speed limiter.

You could see if unplugging the reverse limiter switch solves the problem or not.
