Quad conversion

I am new to go karting and recently I was looking for a new project to begin.In my garage I have the rear axle to a pocket quad and also the front half I am looking for a way to make a go kart of these materials, also I would like to know where I can buy other materials such as engine and the clutch

It would be really useful if you also have the rear swing arm assembly, then the whole thing could be built into a full suspension mini kart (along with the front assembly of course...)

For an engine, lots of guys rave about the Harbor Freight Predator 212cc. As for a clutch, chain, sprockets, etc, they can be found in most online kart suplies stores or even your local tractor supplies store...

I haven't ever heard of you being able to do that. There are too many variables, such as what gearing do you want, what pitch chain are you going to use, etc. No "package" is going to suit all conditions, so it it best, and advisable, to buy everything seperate after seeing what you want your setup to be.

honestly, if you're new to karting, you should buy a fixer-upper kart and start there. if you have no welding or fabricting experience, building something complicated from quad parts and trying to make go-kart parts fit - is going to be complicated.
