Quad/buggy build

Chopping up a Suzuki 230 and splicing it into this frame.

What do you all recommend for the rear?
(trailing arms, swingarm, hardtail etc.)
--Not interested in doing independent suspension --

Thinking about a 6'-7' wheel base��

Why don't you use the swing arm off the quad and that way you already have your sprocket & brake set up already done.fab The swingarm onto the cart and make it look factory like it came on the kart.

That is great way, unfortunately the mounting bracket's ( aluminum – no tig welder) on the acle bearing housing are broken .Also, the axle that came off the Suzuki 230 is not wide enough.

Dang.it was a thought.If you plan on doing a lot of off roading just remember I would go shorter otherwise you have a good chance of bottoming out a lot.

Quad/Buggy (First build)

Hey everyone!
So this is my first build!
Here we go!

-Picture #1 (Buggy)
Bought a "Buggy" type vehicle (let me know what to call it if it is Not
a "buggy") mailnly for the frame.

-Picture #2 (1987 Suzuki LT 230)
Bought the quad for the motor and 'front' suspension (I initially was going to keep the "hardtail, ridgid, solid ?" rear-end style...
Oops hahahah.... I now want DIY the rear-end (help!)


Buggy:
-Make: unknown
- 16HP Powerland motor
- 'Zero' suspension
- Solid axle

Quad:
- Suzuki LT 230
- Automatic clutch (one of the reasons I bought it)
-Broken swingarm mounts on 'original' axle bearing housing

Update: frame support & seat placement

So I replaced/relocated some of the circular frame tubing with square. Also trying to find a good angle for the motor and seat placement.

rear wheels are not nice. Bigger will looks better in your situation. I dislike quard. better is change to seat and steeringwheel. Like it
