!!Pwm help!!

Hi diygk,
I was wondering if it was possible to make a 36v 300amp DC speed control for a golf cart motor. I would buy one but I am cheap, and I believe I could build one. So, I was wondering what is the simplest and easiest way to make a high current pwm controller. Also I don't know very much about the subject so...... Please excuse any of my ignorance

Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Plenty to choose from online. Check Kelly controllers.
