That must have been one rotten engine, or else the cylinder and head must have been really good for something else.
A quick look for a used engine turned up tons without either.

Even with the necessary skills, the more important question is "will it work?"

It has been done, a few times that we've seen but, not with a trans of that description; you may find you'll need a manual clutch...

Buy a new piston, "jug" and tank for that bike and restore it. Come out way ahead.

Could be a nice side project as you search here and there for parts. Evilbay has parts for all kinds of vintage bikes as well as your local motorcycle salvage.

Do it! It would be a fun project. You could put an old dirt bike engine or a predator on it.
A predator would need... A jackshaft gear with the correct tooth size, if you were to have a gearbox that is already on the bike. Then you'd have to set up a chain.

Why can't he just mount a predator on it, with a CC and forget about a trans?
It would still boogie around, the only issues that I can see that would require some thought is the gearing and chain length, of which neither would be difficult.

O k so do i have to get a jack shaft? Can I just put a small sprocket and chain on the old cam? Will it cost less to do the old trabs? And should
I think about investing in a angle grinder? Or should I just wait till that obstacle comes up.
