Well the decision has been made , and my son and I started building a cart for him out of the 5 partials we have. We are using the #3 dale E. edition path winder frame. It has enough room for him and his best friend from down the street.
So far I have removed the square axle tube to allow the addition of the disc brake. Installed the live axle ,sprocket, welded on new support bracket for caliper.
We picked up a new HF 6.5 predator, because the thought of my 7 year old using the race motors I have scares me a bit. ( those are for dad's cart :) ) one is still set up to run alc.
He has already planned out the paint job, it has to match his helmet. Bright red with sorta tribal designs.

Got it all together , and gave it a good break in session around the cornfield.
My son and I wanted to see how fast it was, so I undid the throttle stop, and climbed on with my GPS.. 27mph ... Not bad for hauling my big booty around.
