Any blown up SxS in your area? Maybe a clutch system off one of them.
I just worked on a polaris quad and the cvt on it was pretty hefty.

Did your comet belt hourglass or just even wear.
Wheres the pics of the yak hair ones. How did they fail.
The belt had uneven wear and obvious hot spots. There was more than one occasion where the belt was smoked.
The power/weight ratio needs help. She's a bit weak. It doesnt take much of a hill to drag her down. The grandbrat hasen't complained, but grandpa HAS to drive it occasionly.
I'm looking at all options.
Watcha think a 30+hp Gx390 is worth? Its got all the good shyt innit.
Filled with ARC billet sruff built to NR recommended specs.

So that 40 series driver lasted what, 3+ years at almost double it's rated horsepower? If it were my decision to make, I would just buy another cheapie driver. The light weights are probably still good, maybe even the stronger springs. Even if you only get two years out of it, that's still a pretty good bang for the buck.

Panch you might be thinking of the noughtagator.
This one is the new build.

In the same theme of TCs though, cars and cameras just recently punished a 30 series. Bored it to fit the 1" pto. Added a pillow block bearing to the jackshaft.
Still managed to taco the driven. 👍
It'll be fine i heard them say..

The Naughtagator is hydrostatic trans. Pancho is correct and has a point.
But it needs more power. AND reliability is of utmost importance.
Some times we end up 15-20 miles from the safety of the trailer. l probably won't get to choose when it breaks.
l will be studyng the options carefully
