Exciting news from the MTL design and prototype division the chain adjuster/tensioner is complete! I'm ok with it. There are no real options due to space limitations.This is it final revision #1643a! It took two days of fu...l mean trying different things.
This finely crafted hybrid device combines an adjuster to take up chain slack and provide a spring "shock absorber".
Speaking of slack, one link of #50 chain makes a huge difference in length and slack.
it's like 5/8 inch!
So i know its one link too long, ideally 1.5 link.
I'll run it a little and see if it stretches any.
so without further do do here's a coupla pics.
