digging around for parts for my Go-cart I stumbled upon a 2.5HP Tecumseh engine, complete with cent. clutch. only missing parts were the recoil and i had to make a new fuel line. So I started thinking of ideas to use this with. Still waiting for the junkyard to open, so I could get the frame materials for the cart, i noticed my old bicycle (a rather nice Schwinn) thats when the diabolicality of my mind took over, and i came up with making it into a motor cycle. the crank bars that hold the pedals on are removable, and the crank has a set of three sprockets on it already, conveniently the same size (chain wise) as would be used for the motor, so the plan is to replace me pedaling the bike with the motor. eventually (when i get the motor running, and mounted on the bike) i will add foot pegs. only problem is, i need a new coil for the motor, and i need to find out how to set the coil up, so that the timing isn't off. the coil i can find, but i have no experience in setting the coil. the only reason i feel that its the coil is because Ive cleaned the points, and set them, and still no spark. does anyone have any tips on how to set the coil?
