project DEADSLED the low and long 6.5 hp trike

iv got this project trike im workin on, and im not sure were to put my build up on this forum

well were do i start off at....im building my first trike pretty much off of a go kart project that failed to launch, its escalated pretty quickly, 3.5 hp briggs, mountain bike front end, ape hangers, disk breaks on front, completely costum one off frame, 26 inch wheel, and im going to top it off with a hand made tall t style body in the end
heres pictures from the past few days, i just got the new forks and wheel today and made a new gas pedal

started with getting rid of the old exaust i had welded on to get the \header out of my ear

welded a muffler on

with a dump pipe on it now alls it needs is header coating and its done
next up is simple, the throttle and carb adjustments

with new spring mounts and throttle cable mount everything sets were it should be, tuned the idle and needle and she purrs

a custom pedal made of two pegs, a brake handle, and a carb spring
next up is the frond disk break

cleaninng the stuff off the disk since its sat a bit

bigger pads off of a minibike cut the mount a bit to fit

pretty cool looking wheel if you ask me
lastly i want to run a kill switch for safety reasons
i think shes coming along beautifully like i wanted, my clutch comes in soon

well the clutch came...THEN the worste possible thing happend, people showed up that didnt care
"so i hope im not going to annoy anyone by bringing this back, but this is why i took a pause, i was making a run to tune it up and see how it works when some trouble makers ran me off the road, i lock up the brakes, it hits a curb and its at this point im glad i went with the seat i did because i was going about 40ish when this happened and it kept me in, or this might have hurt a bit more, even if all i was able to do this time was grab the brake and hope i didnt flip, the damages were bad, the rear end broke, engine came off of its spot, causing it to twist around and ruin itself, the brakes turned into a pretzel and i had to rebuild most of the mechanics on this ride, so yeah, i ran out of money to, only planned on building it once and that's what i saved up for, so all iv managed to get done is fixing the axle, new motor bolts and fix the mount, got a new block, new and better brake setup, a roll-bar, and new supports....this is gonna be a long rebuild guys hang on haha, it wont be the same beast when its done, im giving it some steroids this time" i took a 6-7 month pause befor this



new main support and turn switches on the hand break, p.s. the shift knob lights up 8)
a metric ton of work went into the front brake adjustment, remounting and supporting the forks, and making it work smooth
new wheel to replace the bald tire and bent rim, roll bar, support, and its nice and all in one color....im not used to that part but its grown on me haha


did some more
got the chain mounted up, clutch to, made motor mount since im going up for a 2 horse to a 6 horse

got the brakes attached

im loving this stance

And that is were she is today, in fact i think i have one more thing left to show

nothing like hearing a motor on that thing for the first time since its crash, gives me more motivation
