What mods would be the best to get. A cam for 40 $ or a 14cc head for 45$? i have a flywheel,.020 rod and adv timing keyway. just trying to figure out wich one would be the most usefull.

I would go with a 14cc head its at least 2 hp bolted on and the most noticeable mod u can do , I wouldn't do 18 lb springs with out a billet rod and flywheel

Id be going the high compression head first

But pushing too much compression can test a standard rod

If u can afford it I'd be fitting a billet rod now while the head is off
That allows an upping of rpm later if u wish to fit tougher springs

Head, providing you already have a decent header and air filter.
Apparently you need to adapt the dowel holes for the predator, but it should be fairly self explanatory and be able to be done with some drill bits.

Maybe get some nice 1:1.3 stamped rockers in there too? They are much better bang for your buck than a new cam. Or diy some like I did. Weld up the rocker and existing push rod dimple, and drill some new holes closer to the pivot. Mine work perfectly!!!

You don't need to drill out the dowel pins on the 14cc head most people run theirs with out the dowels including myself
