I modified my predator by adding a top plate to it and a Honda carb which is longer than the factory carb. In adding the top plate i had to remove the factory throttle linkage because they both wouldn't fit. Additionally when i added the Honda carb i had to fabricate a longer governor arm. So right now i have a governor arm attached to the carb and governor lever. For some reason i can't figure out how to install the throttle cable without bypassing the governor. Can i just install the throttle cable via a spring to the governor lever? I have attached a video for demonstration. In the video the throttle cable is attached directly to the governor lever. When i pull on the throttle cable it causes the govenor lever to open the butterfly. I know there is a simple solution but my brain can't figure it out. I am honestly stumped.

Did u ever fix ur problem? If not here's what I did it works for me. The same way u have it setup to the governor arm put a return spring on the otherside of the arm then attach that spring to ur pulley housing. Whenever u take out the governor completely u can still use the arm by using a longer bolt inside the governor arm & hole I used rtv red to coat the bolt and flushed the nut outside the case.It works for me....u can see the setup in my first kart album.
