I am thinking about buying a stage one Kit to install on my predator 212. I know it comes with a bigger main jet. I live at 6000 feet elevation and am curious about rejetting for this altitude. I have seen a high elevation kit advertised for stock engines with 2 jets. One for 3000-6000 feet and another one for above 6000 feet. I understand both jets in this kit are smaller than stock. SO here is my question. What jet is recommended for elevation a around 6000 feet for a stage one kit? better flow means a need for more fuel but, at altitude would I be ok running a stock jet with the stage one kit? I haven't bought the kit yet and was doing some research as to what to expect. I just bought the motor and am not sure if it has the new style EPA carb that wont allow a jet change. I will buy a different carb if necessary also. any help is appreciated.
