The vibrations from the engine never bothered me. What did bother me is not being able to keep the engine in line or the chain tensioned. When I had my Manco my dad thought the engine would be smoother mounted on a piece of old conveyor belt. I was in my mid 20s I couldn’t feel any bumps or vibrations. He in his mid 50s apparently could. Long story short, flung the stupid thing in the fire pit. If he wanted to ride my kart he had to put up with the little vibration. My 6 year old sister did.

Guess I'll know soon enough. Just finished putting my #6 (7.2 degrees) timing advance key back in, replacing the temporary stock (0 degrees) key, had to pull the motor out completely to do it.
Put the motor back in with no isolation at all, pretty nice to have chain tension not change by tightening down the mounting bolts. I can see that it won't be necessary to put in a fixed tensioner with idler pulley like my secondary chain has.
Run test tomorrow, with tachometer installed, and proper timing. Have my Kodak camera/videocam ready to mount looking down at the CVT. If the vibration is bad, the Kodak will explain it to me.
