Predator 420cc in Yerf-Dog Gx150

Hi i wanna know if the Predator 420cc can charge a battery for lights.And also Is the steering just bad?its my first go cart ive driven golf carts and the steering was way better is there any way i can improve it like a after market part?and would i break the drive shaft with that motor? oh and its a yerf dog gx 150.(sorry for my bad grammar and punctuion).

Welcome..... The 420 has an altenator built in so yes, it will charge a battery with ease. As far as the steering goes, yerf dogs are NOT know for superior handling..... lol Post some pics if what you have. Take a pic of wheels straight , full left,full right, from ABOVE so we can see the angles of the wheels....

Is there a reverse kit for the 420

There is a reverse gear box you can get and fabricate into your kart. Ill find link and post it in a minute....

im a newbie so i dont think i would know how to even put it on like where does it attach to ect thanks.

Also would i break axels? and i know there isnt a torque converter kit but can you tell me everything i would need to basically make the kit my self.

You shouldnt break any axles..... and as far as attachment, we will help you there as well. Its not rocket science. Can you weld? You got fingers and toes to count on? You got a saw/grinder? Thats about all ya need..... Post some pics ,when you can, and we will start from there. Need pics of the back end.
Yes they do make "kits" for a 1" shaft 9hp up to 18 hp..... Hop on eBay, Your criteria for a TC is 1" shaft, able to handle the power youre gonna throw at it. Ill try n post a link shortly. Fixxin to start cookin.... Im starving and cant think with my belly SCREAMING at me.....
