Guys,
I need some help with wiring this 420 up to the yerfdogs push button start. I'll attach some pictures of the current wiring. They had the brake switch bypassed. I'm not for sure what to hook where. Help would be greatly appreciated.

It's pretty simple. How is your knowledge of electrics?

It's hard to explain but easy to do.

Let's do one thing at a time. Where would you like to start?

not sure about the rest of the wiring, but you can jump the starter pretty easily. The 'easy' way is run the red wire from the solenoid to the switch and from the switch you run a wire to the positive terminal on the battery. The battery's negative terminal should be grounded to the engine or frame.

Am i off base here, or is that the right way to do it?

This of course ignores the rest of the wiring/kill switch that would typically be linked to the key switch, which has the off, on, start positions.

Somehow i think im missing a big point here and the gauge of the wire would make it melt. How is it actually done?

I found this diagram online today. I'm pretty sure it's the predator 420 minus the the low oil sensor. I'll know for sure tonight. But I just want to remove the key switch and tie into the existing push button start.

Good for everyone trying to help. My thoughts after reading were similar to Whitetrashrocker. Hard to explain, piece of cake if I was there with a meter.
