I have a pull start Predator 346cc engine on my kart. It has the low oil sensor and a kill switch. I see there is a electric start and a pull start version of this engine. I am assuming the electric start version can charge a battery. So can the pull start version charge a battery somehow? Or do I need to get some parts from the electric start version to be able to charge a battery?

EDIT: So I found an exploded view of the engine and I see there is only a pull start 346cc version which does not have a charging coil like the 420cc and 212cc which has both starting options. I now see why people gravitate to the 212cc and 420cc engines. It appears, at least on the outside, that much of the 346cc engine is the same dimensionally as the 420cc engine except for the internals. Does anyone know if the charging coil from a 420cc will bolt onto the 346cc engine? If not, will it with some modifications?
