I recently bought a new predator 212 6.5 horse for a little single seat go kart of mine after dropping a valve and shattering a piston head on an old tecumseh. After break in and installation, it was noticeably quicker on acceleration, with a similar top speed. (Single gear driven, similar rpm limit.) However, I've noticed that in hard right turns, or any right hand drift, after exiting the turn the engine fuel starves and slowly dies, even if thrown right into a hard left. Thought it was a problem with the fuel sloshing around, but a super full tank would have solved that problem. It's pretty annoying only being able to take half the turns, anyone else have a similar problem? If so, how did you fix it?

its not fuel starvation. its your low oil shut off kicking in. You need to unclip the wire bundle and find the yellow wire. Just disconnect the yellow wire (its just a waterproof connection there hidden inside the wire bundle).

If you look on the front/bottom of the engine block you will see a nut with a yellow wire coming out of it. Follow it to where you see it connected together and pull it apart.

Always check your oil level before you drive it after that. Easy 2 minute fix.

Awesome, thanks for the info. None of the old motors on my other toys are even that sophisticated.
