Predator 212

I just bout a new crank shaft for my predator 212 hemi and it's like the side cover it tweaking the cam shaft over causing the bottom of the connecting rod to catch between the lobes and I'm not understand why cause it turns good without the cover but with cover on it binds

Can you post where you got the new crank???

Why would you need to replace the crank??

Did you make sure you have the crank and cam dot to dot (cam timing correct) ????

Billet rods will hit some cam shafts.

With the cover on, you have correctly lined up the crank and cam.

Some cams need to be clearance ground.
