My 212 Hemi will idle just fine with choke on then when I then choke off it acts like it’s not getting enough fuel then it dies but when I drive the mini bike it had plenty of power and runs just fine, it just won’t idle, but when I’m driving it leaks gas out of the carb between the head so anyone have an idea

I replaced one gasket, it stopped the leaking but it still wouldn’t idle and then it had no power, I pulled the spark plug and the threads were stripped, swung by harbor freight and picked up another 212, sadly non Hemi, they didn’t have any hemis, thx for the help anyways, tired of dealing with that engine lol

Gen III Predators are non-hemi, but still have 27mm/25mm valves.
They come with better retainers and keepers, which is good.
The valves have thinner stems (5.0 mm vs 5.5mm) vs is good for flow and weight reduction.
The thinner stems are weaker (if planning on building up the engine) but should be fine if not heavily modifying the engine.
I don't think replacement SS valves are availbale for these engines with 5.0mm stems, which means if upgrading the valves, you need to change or bore the valve guides.

Show me a pic of your valve cover and I might be able to tell which you have.
I think the new one's valve cover is just slightly different (a rounded flange looking thing on top and bottom).

Gen III has a Octagonal valve cover, Gen I + II Don't. Gen II has a more streamline air filter box. It used to be that punched steel covers were Non-Hemi and cast covers were Hemi. Not sure what it is anymore.
