Predator 212 wot issue

I've got a Predator 212 hemi. Issues is when I'm running wot for an extended period of time 1/2-1 mile the bike will die out like it's running out of gas but will kick back on a few seconds later. Or while it's dieing out if I move the choke lever back and forth it will slowly start running again.

My question is am I running The carburetor bowl dry? Or could the gas tank breather not being in the air box be a issue?

I'll spray it with some starting fluid in the morning to check for a air leak.

Ummm did you change the idle jet ??? It's the one everybody forgets about. It's the plastic one under the idle set screw.

And that engine needs a fuel pump also and NOT the stock fuel tank either.

Didn't even know it had a idle jet. That would affect wot? Just curious but what's wrong with the stock tank?

I'm suspecting the tank vent is restricted. Next time it does it crack the gas cap open for a second and see if that changes anything.

This would be my next guess, along with any fuel filters there may be along the way.

Maybe some trash in your bowl valve not letting fuel into the bowl fast enough?

Change the idle jet. Call arc racing and they will tell you which size you need. It will fix it.

Called arc and talked to Hunter. He recommended a DJ2227 carb and a fuel pump.. I also noticed that my SS valve kit didn't come with the valve lash caps so I order the carb and caps. See what happenes.

Update. I built a custom gas tank changed idle jet and put a walbro fuel pump on it and issue went away.
